Through field trips and short lectures, we will review all the components that are needed to achieve advanced, environmentally friendly and efficient water and agriculture systems.

Water in Israel – The water problem in Israel and the Middle East
Water Consumption management – Water saving and efficient use of water -conservation/recycling management to improve efficacy of water utilization
After lunch, begin your afternoon session:
Demand Management –
Understanding of the demand management targets in agriculture.
Workshop – Analysis and first discussion of the water problems and methods of agriculture water management in the home country of the students.
Return to your hotel for dinner & overnight
Today is a full study tour:
Meeting with farmers and water officials – Meeting in the field with farmers of various crops and some members of the Ministry of Agriculture
Pipes and irrigation fittings plant – Visit a plant for the production of drip irrigation pipes and hear about the leading products, as well as the innovations in the field.
Return to your hotel for dinner & overnight
After breakfast, meet with the team of experts of R.T.S.
Integrated water resources management (IWRM) – Review of the world’s most current method for managing water resources (IWRM), that cover various systems aimed at meeting the growing demand for quality water supply.
Superiors & operators of water systems in agriculture – Conception of modern irrigation & Introduction to irrigation monitoring methods
Rainwater harvesting – Floods catchment management. Review some examples of floods water reservoirs.
Continue the workshop – Analysis and second discussion about the water issues, problems and solutions in the home country of the students.

DAY 5
A full day study tour & Conclusion
After breakfast, visits to:
Mei Golan water system – A Successful Regional Water Management project – rainwater collection for agricultural consumers
Zemac – Visit in experimental Research and Development Station. We will examine the connection between the experimental R&D station and the implementation of the innovations by the farmers
Amiad Filtration plant – Manufacture of different types of filtration media
Return to your hotel for dinner & overnight
DAY 6
Full day Touring the Galilee area
After breakfast, tour the Sea of Galilee and the sites around it.
Enjoy a Boat ride from Ginnosar to Capernaum. Visit Capernaum & the Mt. of Beatitudes.
Next drive to Nazareth & Cana for a visit of the impressive Church of the Annunciation & the Church of the first miracle.
End the day of touring in Caesarea – the ancient seaport of Herod the Great. Tour the wonderfully preserved excavations.
Drive to Jerusalem for dinner & overnight.
DAY 7
Touring in Jerusalem
Today is a full day touring in Jerusalem. and the Dead Sea
Begin your day at the Mount of Olives and see the panorama of the City from there. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane. Next enter the Old City and visit the Christian, Jewish, Muslim & Armenian Quarters. Walk through the colorful bazaars. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit the Jewish Quarter where the remains of the holy temple and the Wailing Wall are located.
Drive to the Dead Sea – the lowest point on earth and enjoy a floating experience on the amazing water with its healing powers.

After Breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight home
