Today is a full day to learn about the “way of the fruit”: enter one of R&D North stations, specializing in deciduous fruit trees. Learn about the most recent experiments conducted, the new methods for fruit yield maximization, climate control, and smart water use.

The Israeli agriculture industry is in a constant reality of multiple challenges and lack of resources such as manpower, water, and professional knowledge.

Visit a Kibbutz which is a leader, in Israel in general & in the Golan Heights in particular, in precise agriculture. This agricultural sector is led by a professional young team, whose close cooperation with R & D North and various companies enables endless experiments and agricultural observations. At the same time, this kibbutz established an internal R & D of its own in which new and unique crops are examined while taking advantage of the relative advantages of the kibbutz’s geographic location.

Our last stop for the day is Beresheet – Israel’s leading fruit brand, specializing in Deciduous fruit trees. Visit the visitor center in the Golan Heights, where you will learn about the fascinating journey of the fruit from nature to the client’s home.

After breakfast, drive to the Sea of Galilee area to meet with the local farmers.

Visit a unique aquaponics & hydroponics farm which is located in the north part of Israel with proximity to the sea of galilee. The farm is based on vertical farming techniques and the marketing focus on local communities and direct sells. Their belief is that growing organic vegetable in hydroponics and aquaponics systems can be considered the most eco-friendly agricultural methods, especially for its reuse of the same water crop after crop.

Next visit the Mango/Banana/Avocado orchards around the Sea of Galilee.

Visit the Holy sites around the lake: Mt. of Beatitudes, Capernaum & Tabgha. End the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

Dinner & overnight in Galilee area.

Dinner & overnight at Jerusalem

Today is a full day touring in Jerusalem. Begin your day at the Mount of Olives, and see the panorama of the City from there. Walk the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane. Next enter the walls of the Old City. Walk through the colorful bazaars to the Church of St. Anne. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the 14th station inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Visit the Jewish Quarter where the remains of the holy temple and the Wailing Wall are located.

Free time will be given for exploring and personal shopping.

After breakfast, transfer to Ben Gurion airport for your flight home.
